Third Grade Newsletter for the Week of January 4, 2010
From Mrs. Godwin
Due to the snow days before the winter break, we will not have a “Talent Show” Reading test. Our last list of Spelling words will be revisited later in the year and tested then.
We will have our new Spelling and Reading tests on Friday. The first 15 Spelling words are the most important. The Challenge words will be given as a bonus. Please read “Centerfield Ballhawk” for the Reading test too.
The Unit 5 Math Test is expected to be Thursday, January 14th. I will let you know if that changes. A study guide and studying tips will go home next week.
Just some notes for the week:
*Jan. 8 – Group picture day
*Jan. 18 – School Closed for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
*Jan. 25 – PTA Skating Party
